Teen girls rob pizza hut delivery guy for free meal after tasering him: Cops
(INSIDE EDITION) - A teen girl in Oregon was arrested Saturday after cops say she and some friends treated themselves to a free pizza by taking it from a delivery guy with the help of a Taser.
After midnight on Friday, a delivery driver for Pizza Hut called the Gresham Police Department to report he was robbed by a group of juvenile girls while delivering a pie to a large apartment complex.
The driver told police that he was approached from behind and shocked in the back with a stun gun.
"He felt a jolt of pain and then [suspect] activated the stun gun a second time while another one of the females came up and took the pizza from his hand," a police report reads, "the females then ran off and he called for help."
With the help of a police K-9, Gresham police say they arrived and tracked the teens to a nearby apartment.
In the apartment, cops say they made contact with four females, three that were 17 years old and one that was 18 years old. They also say they found Pizza Hut boxes and a stun gun.
Cops say the girl responsible for using the stun gun during the robbery is identified as one of the 17-year-old Erionna Patten. She was arrested for robbery in the first degree.
Police believe the girls were the ones who placed the initial pizza order and arranged for the driver to meet them at the location near their apartment.
The other suspects have not been arrested and their names have not been released. The report is being forwarded to the Multnomah District Attorney's Office for consideration in charging the others allegedly involved.
