Police hunt for active shooter after 2 killed, 1 wounded in Houston

(FOX NEWS) - DEVELOPING: Police are searching for an active shooter in Houston after one suspect was killed and a citizen was found dead inside a car, according the Houston Police Department.

A third suspect was wounded at the scene and transported to a local hospital.

The active male shooter is said to be carrying a rifle and wearing no shirt and dark shorts, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Police are instructing residents to shelter in place until further notice.
