Search on for robber who struck convenience store overnight

A man who looked like he was carrying a shotgun robbed a convenience store overnight, and now Delaware State Police are asking for help finding him.

Troopers said it happened just after midnight at the Canterbury Shore Stop in Felton, Kent County.

The man entered went inside the store on the 8900 block of S. DuPont Highway "and approached the female employee at the counter armed with what appeared to be a shotgun."

The clerk complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.

Then, he got away in an unknown direction.

The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as 16-30 years old, 5'5" to 5'10" tall, weighing 130-185 lbs. He was wearing all dark colored clothing.
