Wanted teen considered armed and dangerous after shooting
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ (WTXF) - A South Jersey teen is wanted for a shooting that happened last week, and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Egg Harbor Township police say Shaquille D. Scott, 18, shot another 18-year-old, James McClellan Jr., in his shoulder and leg. It happened last Friday at a business on Adam's Avenue.
They say the reason was reportedly "the result of an alleged attempted marijuana sale 'gone bad.'"
Scott got away and police got an arrest warrant.
Another suspect, Robert V. Nelson III, turned himself in. He was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Nelson posted bail and was released.
There's also a third person on the loose who police say was with Nelson and Scott at the time of the shooting.
The gun that was used has not been recovered, so authorities say to consider Scott armed and dangerous.
If you have any information on him, you're asked to call Egg Harbor Township police at 609-926-4051 or Atlantic County Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234.
